Rome
The Italian capital combines government, institutional and corporate production, from the ministries and international bodies headquartered here to the historic centre, EUR business district and the major conference hotels. It draws international productions for everything from executive interviews to feature and documentary work, with the added logistical layer of ZTL zones and permitted filming in protected areas. It's the city I know most closely on the ground.
Lisbon
Lisbon has become one of Europe's busiest destinations for international corporate and event video, anchored by Web Summit at the Altice Arena and FIL and a heavy calendar of pharmaceutical, technology and aviation summits. The city offers strong production value — light, architecture and waterfront settings — alongside comparatively straightforward logistics for a capital. It's the European city I've worked in most.
Porto
Portugal's second city has grown into a real corporate and technology hub, host to EU-funded programmes, engineering consultancies and employer-branding productions drawing on its expanding talent base. Venues like the WOW cultural district and the Palácio da Bolsa give productions strong settings, and the city is well suited to the kind of documentary-led corporate work international companies commission.
Milan
Italy's business and financial capital and its design and fashion centre, Milan generates a dense corporate video calendar around the Fiera Milano complex, the stock exchange and the headquarters clustered here. The city is a natural base for brand, fashion and executive production, and it sits within easy reach for shoots across northern Italy.
Paris
Paris concentrates the European headquarters of luxury, finance, technology and industrial firms, and its convention infrastructure at the Palais des Congrès and Paris Expo Porte de Versailles hosts a continuous stream of international corporate events. For teams filming in France it offers both prestige settings and the depth of a major production market.
Madrid
Madrid is home to IFEMA, the largest exhibition complex in Spain and one of the five biggest in Europe, hosting FITUR, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and, from this year, the city's Formula 1 Grand Prix. Its 13 halls, two convention centres and location minutes from Barajas airport make it a magnet for international trade fairs and corporate events across automotive, technology and finance. That volume of activity generates steady demand for executive interviews, testimonials and event coverage.
Barcelona
Barcelona hosts Mobile World Congress and over 150 shows a year at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via and Montjuïc venues, drawing 2.5 million visitors from more than 200 countries. The combination of Europe's largest tech congress, a deep hotel base and Mediterranean production value makes it one of the continent's busiest cities for event and brand video. It's a natural fit for conference coverage and corporate work tied to the congress calendar.
Munich
Munich anchors southern Germany's industrial and technology economy, home to DAX corporations and the ICM International Congress Center, whose clients include large corporations and international medical congresses such as the 30,000-delegate European Society of Cardiology. Corporate demand here runs to executive, automotive and technology production, handled directly in German where needed.
Cologne
Cologne's Koelnmesse is one of the world's major trade-fair venues, host to Gamescom and Anuga and a congress centre seating up to 9,600, drawing millions of trade visitors a year to the Rhineland. The city generates corporate and event work across gaming, food, media and manufacturing, filmed in German and English.
Vienna
Vienna is a hub for international organisations, headquartered UN agencies and a strong congress economy, making it a frequent destination for institutional and corporate production in central Europe. Its conference venues and headquarters buildings support executive interviews and multi-day event coverage for organisations operating across the region.
Zurich
Switzerland's financial and corporate centre, Zurich hosts the headquarters of banks, insurers and multinationals that commission executive and corporate video to a high standard. The city is a natural base for discreet, precise production work for the finance and technology sectors, and it sits close to the country's other business centres.
Davos
Davos is defined for the production world by the World Economic Forum and the intense, tightly-scheduled summit calendar around it, where corporate and institutional clients need coverage under real time pressure. It's a market where preparation and the ability to work cleanly on a fixed schedule matter more than anywhere.
San Diego
Southern California's technology, robotics and life-sciences base makes San Diego a destination for product and corporate film work, from robotics companies to the region's biotech cluster. It's a market suited to product films, executive testimonials and demonstration-led corporate video.
Lisbon - Event Photography
Beyond video, Lisbon's summit and conference calendar generates steady demand for event and conference photography, from corporate gatherings at the Altice Arena and FIL to institutional and diplomatic assignments across the city. It's a market where the same access and discretion that serve high-level video carry directly into stills.
