Clients
I've shot corporate films, executive interviews, testimonials and event coverage for clients including, in technology: Google, Amazon Web Services, Huawei, Brain Corp, Cresta, Pixellot, Dell, Cisco and NTT Group. In pharma and life sciences: Pfizer, Merck, Novo Nordisk, Gilead, Asahi-Kasei and Alcon. In finance and consulting: Barclays, Boston Consulting Group, Zurich Insurance and Allianz. Recent projects include a commercial for Brain Corp and Tennant in San Diego (2024), event coverage for the World Aviation Festival in Lisbon (2023) and the EU-funded OpenInnoTrain final event in Porto (2024), and a documentary for Autism Spectrum Reach in San Francisco (2023). More recent work includes the Oslo leg of a corporate film for BW LPG (2026), executive interviews for Private Division at their Munich office, the Barcelona episode of Private Division’s fifth-anniversary documentary and the State of New Jersey trade delegation to Mexico City led by Governor Phil Murphy (2025). Most recently, I was cinematographer on the Munich interview for The New York Times video “Are These Workers Training Robots to Replace Them?” (October 2026).

Training
I trained in cinematography at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) under Fred Kelemen — Béla Tarr's cinematographer on The Turin Horse, which won the Grand Prix at the Berlinale. Fred Kelemen mentored me across several projects.
Awards
Anna Pavlova Lives in Berlin (2011), as director and cinematographer, received the inaugural Preis der Nationalgalerie für junge Filmkunst (Prize of the National Gallery for Young Film Art) from the German National Gallery and the German Film Academy, presented by the Academy's presidents Bruno Ganz and Iris Berben on 28 September 2011 at the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin, where the film was then shown daily in its own room for four months. Both the awarding Nationalgalerie and its partner BMW Group announced the prize in 2011.
The jury wrote (translated): “The camera work alone switches virtuously between journalistic portraits and free, poetic paraphrasing.”
The same film won the Promotional Award of the City of Duisburg, Best Cinematography at Achtung Berlin, Best Feature at the Boddinale Film Festival, the Helene-Schwarz-Preis and a Special Prize of the Jury at CineramaBC. Outrage / Rikkomus (2009) received a Special Mention of the Jury at the Up & Coming Festival Hannover and a nomination for the German Prize for Young Directors.
Screenings of Anna Pavlova Lives in Berlin include Filmfest München (2011), the 23rd Trieste Film Festival, Ambulante Gira de Documentales in Mexico, the 30th International Film Festival of Uruguay, Dokfilmwoche Hamburg, BAFICI Buenos Aires, Planete Doc, the European Media Art Festival Osnabrück and Rauma Biennale Balticum (all 2012) and ZagrebDox (2013).
I was cinematographer on The Haendel Variations (2018). The film was nominated for Best German Documentary at Hof International Film Festival 2018, Best Documentary at the Polish Film Festival in America and the Polish Film Festival in Los Angeles (both 2018) and Best Feature Documentary at North Europe International Film Festival 2019, and won Best Music Documentary and Best Director – Feature Film at the World Music and Independent Film Festival 2019.

Broken Dreams (2017), on which I was director of photography, is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Diplomatic and institutional
Official photographer for the 2017 State Visit of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands to Portugal, commissioned by the Dutch Royal Household. Documented the 2022 visit of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg to Lisbon for the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. Director of photography on Swedish National Television's portrait of Nobel Physics laureate Giorgio Parisi (2022). Covered a 2025 trade delegation from the State of New Jersey to Mexico City.
Standing and reach
I was granted a U.S. O-1B visa — the classification issued to artists of extraordinary ability, which requires documented evidence of sustained international recognition. I work in seven languages: English, Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French and Norwegian, which means briefing crew, directing on camera and speaking with clients can happen across languages in a single day.
