Haikai Media was founded by Theo Solnik, a cinematographer and photographer who works directly across all stages of corporate, commercial, and institutional productions.

​

With a background rooted in documentary filmmaking, Theo has spent more than two decades producing video and photographic work for companies, public institutions, and international organisations. His earlier film work, shown at festivals internationally and recognised with multiple awards, continues to inform how projects are structured, filmed, and edited today.

Theo works directly on each project, staying involved from early conversations through production and final delivery. This continuity ensures that intent, tone, and visual decisions remain consistent throughout the process.

Haikai Media operates as a small studio, allowing work to remain coherent from initial intent through execution and delivery. For clients, this means fewer layers, clearer decision-making, and a visual and editorial approach that does not change hands.

Based in Europe and working internationally, Theo collaborates with marketing teams, communication departments, and agencies across different countries and cultures, maintaining the same working approach regardless of location.
